Adolescence

Learners ages 12 to 14 belong to our Adventure Classes.

Our Adventure Years, designed for seventh and eighth graders, are pivotal for students' academic and personal development.

We chose "Adventure" to emphasize the potential for exploration and discovery that education offers. By focusing on student-centered learning, character development, and leadership opportunities, we create a dynamic and enriching experience that prepares students for high school and beyond.

We personalize instruction to meet individual needs and goals, empowering students to make choices and take ownership of their learning. Inquiry-based learning encourages curiosity and exploration, while collaborative projects foster teamwork and communication.

Our school culture is built on positive values, social-emotional skills, and character education

We encourage students to ask questions, conduct research, and explore topics that interest them.

We promote identity consciousness and community service to foster civic responsibility.

We tailor instruction to meet the individual needs and personal goals of each student.

As students transition to middle school, they are exposed to more advanced topics and prepare for the demands of high school. These years are pivotal for academic growth, social development, and building a sense of self.

By integrating these elements, we create a dynamic learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth. This approach equips students with the knowledge, skills, and character traits they need to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Our Adolescence Philosophy

Leadership development is a key component. Students can take on leadership roles, mentorship, and conflict resolution training. We also encourage peer feedback to promote active listening and learning from others.

By cultivating these leadership qualities, we empower students to become confident, responsible, and collaborative individuals.
